Adjacent to the Nançay radio astronomy station and its radio telescope, the Pôle des Étoiles is an unmissable scientific education centre. Young and old alike come here to explore the secrets of the universe. Follow in the footsteps of researchers or enjoy an immersive experience among the stars.

Adventure Park

Activities to enjoy with family or friends. Located 3 kilometres from the campsite, this 6-hectare park offers a tree-top adventure course (100% secure), a catapult, paintballing and an area for children aged 3 and above.

Just a 5-minute walk away, your taste buds will thank you! Nançay shortbread biscuits are listed as part of the culinary heritage of the Centre-Val de Loire region. Visits include a 12-minute video tracing the history and production of Nançay shortbread biscuits.

15 km away, the Salbris swimming pool welcomes you with a sports pool with a depth of 1.20 m to 2 m, a water play area for younger children, and an outdoor area open during the summer season with: a 3-lane water slide, a water play area, a beach volleyball court, table tennis tables and an outdoor beach.

Beauval Zoo

An hour’s drive from the campsite, this must-see tourist attraction in Saint-Aignan in the Loir-et-Cher department is ranked among the four most beautiful zoos in the world. It is home to around 35,000 animals, some of which are unique in France, including giant pandas, koalas and Tasmanian devils. Chaux Pond

You will reach it via a long driveway lined with magnificent American oak trees. A true haven of peace in the Sologne region, it takes about 40 minutes to walk around it. Day fishing permits are available (300 metres from the campsite).
